Fluent in Fashion with Mango

Aunque no me fue muy bien en la Glamour Shopping Night (¡demasiada gente!) y no me llevé nada a casa, no he podido resistirme a participar en el concurso Fluent in Fashion with Mango en Polyvore porque ¡era tan fácil! El tema era qué llevar en tu maleta para una escapada en Barcelona. Me dejé inspirar por el rojo y la mayoría de mis collages estaban centrados en ese color. No sé si ganaré, pero me lo pasé muy bien imaginando qué llevar de paseo por Barcelona.

Though the Glamour Shopping Night wasn’t exactly a success for me (too many people!) and I didn’t score anything, I couldn’t resist to entering the Fluent in Fashion with Mango contest in Polyvore. It was so easy! The subject was what to pack for a weekend in Barcelona. I felt inspired by red and most of my sets were based on that color. I don’t know if I’ll win, but I had fun imagining outfits for hypothetical walks through Barcelona.

Glamour Shopping Night by Mango

Dentro de un par de horas, mi hermana y yo vamos a asistir al evento organizado por la revista Glamour y Mango. He estado revisando mi armario y creo que podría aprovechar el descuento del 25% en algunas de estas prendas:

Una falda por la rodilla, a poder ser recta o tubo. Los días de viento siempre me encuentro con que no tengo faldas que ponerme porque todas tienen riesgo de volar más arriba de donde deben.

Me gustaría una sudadera con un detalle que la haga especial, para días en los que me apetece estar más cómoda.

Un vestido original, con colorido, para los días grises del invierno.

Unos pantalones tipo “pijama”. Me compré unos este verano y ya soy adicta a ellos.

He hecho una lista de deseos en Pinterest con estas y algunas prendas más (lo reconozco, ¡algunas bastante menos prácticas!) para poder ir con todo clarito a la tienda (ingeniera que es una). Si quieres, puedes verla pinchando aquí.

En los últimos días se está empezando a sentir un poco más el fresquito aquí en Madrid. Me da pena que se acabe yendo el calorcito, ¡pero también es un poco raro estar a mitad de octubre y que sigamos saliendo a la calle en manga corta! Así que estoy aprovechando para ponerme ropa de verano hasta el final, ¡quizá la próxima sea ya con medias y chaqueta!

Lately it’s chilling a bit here in Madrid. I don’t want the warmth to go, but I admit it’s weird to go out sleeveless in the middle of october! I’m trying to make summer last to the maximum, so here I am pretending it’s still august… Maybe in the next post I’ll be wearing tights and a cardi!

Hace un par de semanas estuvimos en las bodas de dos amigos diferentes. La primera de ellas fue un viernes por la tarde. Pensábamos que la boda empezaba a las 19:00 cuando en realidad empezaba a las 18:00, así que llegamos en el “¡vivan los novios!”, qué desastre. Durante el cócktel pusieron un photocall y cuando ellos llegaron todos nos pudimos hacer fotos con ellos, ¡fue muy divertido!

A couple of weeks ago, we attended two weddings on the same weekend. The first of them was on friday evening. We were sure that it was to begin at 19.00 but in fact it began at 18.00, so we arrived when they were already married, such a pity! In the park where appetizers were given, there was a photocall. When the bride and groom arrived we all could pose with them, it was a lot of fun!

Durante unos días ha venido el tiempo más fresquito y daba la sensación de que ya se empezaba a notar el otoño. Pero he visto en la predicción del tiempo que mañana vuelve a hacer calorcito. Y yo, ¡tan contenta!

For a few days, we’ve had cooler weather and it was like autumn was finally here. But in the forecast they said that temperatures are rising again on monday. Not that I mind a bit!
